Lockers
Common lockers are used to store PPE items. They are usually located in a central location in the workplace.
Locker Types
Lockers can be categorized into two types,
- Dumb lockers - they work as a peripheral to vending machines. They are usually used to store PPE items that are disposable or low value. Dumb locker is part of the vending machine, and it is not managed separately. Vending on Track’s PPE Vending system manage these lockers as part of the vending machine.
- Standalone Lockers - they are managed separately from vending machines. They are usually used to store PPE items that are reusable or high value. Vending on Track’s PPE Vending system manage these lockers separately from the vending machine.
Standalone Locker Modes
Vending on Track’s PPE lockers can work in two different modes,
- Dedicated Lockers - each cell is assigned to a specific user. The user can only access the locker that is assigned to him/her.
- Trackable Lockers - each cell is not assigned to a specific user, but individual items/products. The employee could access any items/products in the cells via their mobile app. All the activities (dispenses/returns) are tracked by system and available in the reporting section.
