Introduction

Standalone lockers are frequently used by organizations that would require recycling of the dispensed items. Some example of such items include,

• Laptop
• IT products like mouses or keyboards
• Portable barcode scanners
• Power tools
• Batteries
• Non-disposable PPE products

Vending machine is great to dispense items, but there are a few situations that vending machines need some help from standalone lockers,

• Bulky items
• Fragile items
• Precision instruments
• Returnable items

PPE Vending’s standalone locker system allows both dispensing and recycling operations.

Installation

Typically locker setup is performed in the distributor’s workshop. The detailed documents and tutorials are provided as workshop manuals to relevant parties.

Settings

To set up the locker, please follow this procedure,

1. Visit Standalone Lockers page
2. Click the locker shown in the table
3. Scroll down to the Cells Information section
4. The available operations of the cell is available in the Actions table. The operations are,
   • Open Cell - Instruct the door of the cell to open
   • Assign Product - Assign product to the cell. The product can be either trackable or disposable.
   • Update Product - Update the planogram or product map for the cell. The product can be either trackable or disposable.
   • Take out Trackable Item - Remove the trackable item from the cell
